David Bishton, CCS
President Elect

Dave Bishton has been a principal with Moore & Bishton Architects, P.C. in Longmont since 1986. Prior to moving to Colorado, he worked as an architect and specifications director for Schenkel/Shultz Inc., a large AE firm in Ft. Wayne, IN. Moore & Bishton practices architecture on a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in the Denver and northern front range area.

As a member of CSI for various periods starting in 1980, CSI’s Denver Chapter became home in 1995. Dave joined the board in 2003 by becoming editor of the Chapter’s SCOPE newsletter (thanks to Betty), and has continued in that post to the present. SCOPE won an institute award for continuing publications in FY2006. Dave also served as Professional Director in fiscal years 2006-2007. Quality of drawings & specifications has always been a strong concern, and CSI has been a mainstay in supporting those concerns for Dave.
