PERSONAL PROFILE: Jackie Ninneman, Executive Secretary, Denver Chapter CSI Jackie has been the Executive Secretary for the Denver Chapter of CSI since July of 1984. She attends all chapter board and monthly meetings. During her tenure, Jackie has seen attendance at monthly meetings grow from an average of 30 to a current average of 85 attendees. She has watched, and actively assisted, the Chapter’s evolution over the years to the dynamic and active organization that it is today. Jackie handles reservations for all chapter events, and arranges for the use of Lakewood Country Club for the monthly meetings and also with Dixon’s downtown for the Board Meetings. She works with committee chairs when necessary, to make committee operations flow smoothly. She maintains an office for CSI in her home, working for the Denver Chapter at least 30 hours a month, usually many more. Some of her duties include: monthly labeling and mailing of the CSI newsletter; keeping the Chapter books; and managing the Chapter membership database. The Chapter also hires Jackie for additional hours in the spring for Denver’s premier event, Symposium. Jackie puts forth a major effort to make this event a success. In spite of the long list of duties Jackie performs, were you aware that Jackie is not a full-time CSI employee? In fact the Denver Chapter only pays her to work 30 hours per month. Jackie volunteers a lot of her personal time to work for the chapter because she is a strong advocate of CSI and an enthusiastic supporter of our mission. Jackie was hired by Denver Chapter Board of Directors in 1984, under Bruce Sidewell's presidency. At that time she was employed with Industrial Expositions Inc. Jackie worked for IEI for 14 years, and retired in April, 1998. The Denver Chapter subsequently hired her directly to continue working as Executive Secretary for the chapter.
